Merge the letter document with the data document

Make sure the letter document is on the screen

Select Tools, Letters and Mailings, Mail Merge
  • Step 1: Select Letter.
                Select Next.
  • Step 2: Select Use the current document.
                Select Next.
  • Step 3: Select Use an existing List.
                Select Browse.
                Find and Select the Filename.
                Select Open.
                Select OK.
                Select Next
  • Step 4: Select Next
  • Step 5: Use the arrow keys to preview all the letters.
                Select Next.
  • Step 6: Select Edit Individual Letters.
                Select All, OK.
                Select File, Select Save As (and save the document).
NB: If ‘Invalid merge field’ message appears – select ‘replace it with a valid merge field from the data source’.
